Mae Hong Son Loop on a big bike will be a lot better on the body.

However CM has lots of day trips you can do on a mid size scoot. You could brake it up to say 3 day trips, just as good riding maybe even better than MHS.

He's not fat yet though.. is he?

I'm confused... 55
Did you think I somehow have an Ethopian stepson ?
My wife adopted him? 😀

He's gained 20kg+ in 2 years
Of course he's fat......

With the muscle definition of a 12yr old cancer patient 5555

But I think it's part of a culture issue, as well

Kids are so active in organized sports in North America that it carries over to when you in University and through your 20's, for most

I don't think we would go a day in University without doing at least one active thing
Always the gym but basketball most days, anything really

In Asia and Thailand, I don't think you have that as much

He slept until 10am
He comes out when I am in the middle of my laps ij the pool and gives me a big "good morning "
Bro I'm a bit busy, I'm not just lounging in the pool

He asks me if I ate breakfast
I said no, we had a big dinner last night so I will wait until lunch (it's 2 hours away)

"I go eat breakfast "

I know Thais love to eat
But it doesn't occur to him that he can be a bit hungry at times

You want to take him to the Chiang mai University compass, CMU. We go sometimes as it has some nice walks and a big lake.

Seriously so much sport going on in the evenings, the place is buzzing, basket ball, football, running, volley ball etc. Its students and 100's of them.

I must admit in the village I didn't see one fat kid... and very few fat adults. All the kids were running around.. being kids. Not playing sports... but very active. Good evergy. Does Nut eat a lot of western food? Was he fat growing up or just in the last couple of years at university has that 20kg made him fat? I wonder if his mates are fat too? Generally Thais appear much less fat than westerners. But with changing diets are they starting to catch up?

Those arguments with the girlfriend... I wonder if she is saying... You got so fat since your uncle Paulie feed you all those donuts.. 55

Today was a result!

I really wanted to get out and active

I told Nut we were going to hike some waterfalls

He was going to wear flip flops but I reminded him we would be walking up a mountain

We took the scoots about 35mins to the 1st Waterfalls

1st Na Muang Waterfall
There are two

The 1st one you walk right up
And I was shocked at how strong it was, this isn't wet season
But maybe because of how much rain they got the last month

You could climb on a few rocks to get a much better view
I love that stuff so I went right up

Nut didn't and when I got down he was sitting on the stairs texting

I thought here we go...

The 2nd waterfall was this amazingly steep concrete path up
I wanted more nature so we passed on that

I was a bit bummed because the views look amazing online
And still haven't killed Nut yet 5555

We then drove to Hin Lat Waterfall

It's one of those cascading falls with pools every level

I told Nut I wanted to hike to the top
It was a decent hike through the jungle
About 35mins
Not a ton of incline but a serious workout

Nut started out well, actually probably better than me
But around 75% into the hike he was gassed and not happy
Honestly I think he wanted to kill me

The result I was looking for!! 😀

But when we got to the top he let out a big "wow"
Took of his sneakers and shirt and jumped into the pool

From there we had to swim, climb against the Waterfall to get to the top

Nut made it to the last 25%
But I made it to the top

I really love that shit and am good at it

But it was a fxuking workout
Grpping the rocks and maneuvering the falls use so many muscles a normal workout never uses

But I made

Then I thought I was 50 going on 21yrs old and decided to go down with the falls

That was challenging
They weren't huge but very strong and a few times I got a bit slammed into rocks

My body was shot and we had a 35min MB ride home
But it was the best, most scenic ride I've ever done in Thailand

I didn't eat this morning
Just a couple pieces of watermelon
And this fcuker is always hungry

So we went to Indian food for lunch
Nut's 1st time
It was one of the best Indian food I have ever had

But I don't eat a ton
So I ate a bit but Nut was devouring it

I had to tell him that the rest of the butter chicken was mine!

I like to make a wrap with the Naan later :)

Nelson came by and we hung at the pool

Awesome day

Off to Khao Sok tomorrow

PS....from May 18-25 I have 2 more young Thais who do fcuk all I need to get moving! 5555

I guess I booked the older Ferry, Raja

Apparently Seatran is better

This ferry has seen better days!

Sitting outside just in case this old lady goes down! 😀

By the way
Some of the nicest waters I've seen on this trip has been around the ferry ports

That seems odd to me

Welp
We bought a house
In Nothanburi

Well if this old ferry makes it to Surat Thani and I can transfer the rest of the money 😀

My wife is happy
She wanted a stand alone house over the townhouses and twin houses she was looking at

Thai bastards never move an inch on the price though 555

Looks pretty good to me

Yes for the family

When I retire we will sell it and flip the money into house build in Supan Buri

2.7mil

I'm budgeting 6-8mil for house in Suphan
So whatever we sell this for would go into that
