Which one is George Mallory? He was all on his own.. on the left side about half way down that pic somewhere...

The Hillary Step isn't too daunting now.. since the Earthquake it's less steep... almost like DEI have been in on it.

Scary isn't it... but also enticing...

Walk in the park compared with Annapurna. Watched a documentary on Annupurna and death rate was 1 in 4. Ugly odds.

A business associate (late 50s) is attempting the summit this season, and I am hoping he has successfully summitted and more importantly descended. He has done 5 of the "seven summits". He is yet to update his LinkedIn. We were due to try to meet up at Everest Base Camp at end May, yet had to cancel re PJ's health. Body permitting (i.e. mine) and any other unexpected issues, we will at EBC this time next year. Although, no plans to summit.

I think the subways in cities amaze me more than even planes.... how did they build all those tunnels when we were still using a horse and cart?

1843 the first subway tunnel was built in London... I think the same aliens that built the pyramids were involved...
